Operation Octopus and Vladimir Plahotniuc

Vladimir Plahotniuc is a Moldovan oligarch who is deputy speaker of the Parliament, and controls the Democratic Party of Moldova. Newly surfaced documents show that Vladimir Plahotniuc was monitored by Interpol as part of operation OCTOPUS monitoring Russian mafia from the organized crime group ‘Solnzevskaya’. They were involved in extensive money-laundering operations in Italy, with money originating from embezzlement, tax evasion and illicit activities. Check the documents
